Smoothie Recipes

These are some smoothie recipes that I use. I try to mix it up a bit but I always use my home-grown wheatgrass, coconut milk, yogurt and seeds (flax, chia or hemp) in all my drinks. I do specifically to get the fiber, protein and antioxidants that my body needs.

I have this smoothie quite often because it is very tasty and it is full of nothing but goodness. Not only do I like it but my daughter loves it too.

Strawberry Banana Spinach Smoothie

  • 1 Cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 Cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Cup frozen strawberries
  • 1-2 inches of wheatgrass
  • Add a Handful of spinach to get your daily greens
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1/4 Cup of oatmeal

This is another one of my favorite smoothies. The combined flavor of raspberries and coconut is awesome and of course it is packed full of goodness.

Raspberry Coconut Smoothie

  • 1 Cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 Cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Cup of frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 Cup of coconut (flaked or raw young coconut)
  • 1-2 inches of wheatgrass
  • 1 Tablespoon flax seeds or hemp seeds
  • 1/4 Cup oatmeal (optional)

For additional flavor add 1/4 Cup of chopped almonds (optional)

This is another favorite of mine. Blueberries are so good for you and with the banana it makes it a great combination.

Blueberry Banana Spinach Smoothie

  • 1 Cup coconut or almond milk
  • 1/4 Cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Cup frozen blueberries
  • 1-2 inches of wheatgrass
  • Handful of kale
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1/4 Cup oatmeal

Blackberry Raspberry Banana Kale Smoothie

  • 1 Cup coconut or almond milk
  • 1/4 Cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 Cup frozen blackberries
  • 1/2 Cup frozen raspberries
  • 1-2 inches of wheatgrass
  • Handful of kale
  • 1 Tablespoon flax seed
  • 1/4 Cup oatmeal (optional)
